This web page offers the possibility of following real-time updates regarding the preliminary study and mapping of the historical paths and streets in Sicily (South East Area). The mapping intends to offer an overall vision and therefore also includes features present in the Map of the Sicilian, Greek, Roman and Byzantine Paths and Traverses, even if the latter are treated separately and the archaeological sites. It is possible to move on to a detailed view of these routes by accessing the dedicated pages:

The project Ancient Walks and Historical Itineraries of Sicily is carried out in collaboration with AIPTOC - Italian Association of Tourism Professionals and Cultural Operators and the Helios Study Center.
