A1 Ancient Bronze Necropolis and Roman settlement
From the Prehistoric Age to the Roman Age
Finds from the Bronze Age possibly relating to the presence of a village. Necropolis with numerous tombs of the Castelluccian type, approximately 25, well preserved. Evident traces of carriageways 1,60 m wide with crossings in several directions: small quarry for the extraction of large blocks of probable Greek age. Furnace. Near the reservoir, traces of the tax of an oil mill. Wall structures relevant to foundations of houses from the Roman period. The large quantity of ceramic fragments from the prehistoric, Greek and Roman imperial ages testify to a continuity of frequentation in the site for a long period of time.
