Guide to the Valley of the Temples
The guide to the Valley of the Temples is part of the project "GUIDE TO THE UNESCO HERITAGE OF SICILY", a project to promote the territory through the creation of guides to the UNESCO sites of Sicily. For each Unesco site there is a free guide available online.
Here is what you will find by exploring the various areas of the guide through the menu you see above:
1) Descriptive cards of over 30 monuments, substantially all the monuments mentioned by the Unesco document of recognition of the archaeological site "Valley of the Temples" plus other monuments falling within the archaeological area concerned.
2) Detailed sheet and related documents relating to Unesco recognition;
3) A multimedia gallery containing hundreds of images.
4) Interactive and geocoded map with all the monuments cataloged and geocoded
The characteristics of the guide:
Wiki: the multimedia gallery can be integrated with user images;
Data Base: information in the form of a database with a semantic approach (search by fields and keywords);
Multi-device: (PC, Tablet, Smartphone);
Geospatial: Information on geocoded google maps;
Integrated with Social Networks
Multilingual: through “Google Translator the guide is available in about 80 different languages.
