The valley divides the area south of upper Ragusa in two. It constitutes a green area of ​​particular naturalistic, historical and archaeological interest, along the path of the trazzera that connects Ragusa Superiore with Ragusa Ibla, you pass under the three bridges of Ragusa: Ponte dei Cappuccini (Ponte Vecchio), dating back to the late nineteenth century ; Ponte Nuovo, built in 1937 and Ponte Giovanni XXIII (or Ponte San Vito) built in 1964. On the way there are remains of archaic dwellings, quarries used for the extraction of stone, mills and a necropolis of the XNUMXth century. B.C
