Necropolis of the Classical Age
The necropolis is made up of pits in bare earth, pits and counter-pits with covering slabs and stones, pits dug into the rock covered by three slabs, pits with capuchin roofing, enchytrismos burials with the use of amphorae, cremation pits type ustrinum, small mounds within stone enclosures, and cinerary vases in pits or ravines. Under the layer of the necropolis, to the north-west of a recent quarry, remains of a prehistoric village and perhaps related necropolis near the Gelone wall, where an artificial cave tomb was identified
