Lu Cuntu of Biamunti
Variant of LXXI – Lu Ciclòpu.
In this version, Biamonte, crown prince of a grande
kingdom, after having seen everything and having left with his mother, afterwards
having found the water resuscitate-dead, and having been killed by the mother and then brought back to life by the fairy sisters as in the Cyclops, in turn kills the mother and the thief.
Under the name of Beppe, with a few hairs from the mane of a fairy horse, he goes to get dressed with a baker. One day, unknown, I went to a carousel, where the king's daughter is promised to the winner. She jousts and wins; but wounded, he receives a cloth from the princess to wrap himself with her, for which he then marries her while other princes
if they oppose it. You are sorry for this plebeian party. She once she goes hunting; Beppe's brothers-in-law take no birds,
