Settlement of Casa Di Benedetto
The site extends along the north-western outskirts of the modern city, immediately south of the hills found in C.da Cuminazzi. On the western ridge of the valley we note the presence of numerous cave tombs from the Castelluccian period and along the eastern side of the
valley two bottoms of huts dug into the rock have been found with real seats equipped with backs together with abundant fragments of Neolithic and Eneolithic pottery. The site was included in a single perimeter together with C.da Cuminazzi and Montagnola del Calvario-Grotta Zubbia.
