Mouth of the River Tusa
On the coast, near the mouth of the Tusa river, there are the remains of a building which conserves floors a mosaic in white, black and red tesserae, and ancient structures, already seen in the seventeenth century by Tommaso Fazello and interpreted by him as a thermal structure. More recent constructions (“Case Gravina”) have been installed on the building, but the structure could be interpreted as the one mentioned in the “Alesine tables” as a border element between the lots in the Alesino area.
