The city is enclosed within a wall with square towers and a moat in front of the northern gate. Inside, in the suburban area, a sanctuary of Demeter and Kore was found organized in different environments; while, open to the south, there is a small theater. Outside the walls, to the NW of this, four groups of classical and Hellenistic tombs have been identified. To the north of the city it insists on a sepulchral monument called "Pizzuta column".
