Contrada Namone
In the Namone locality, between Torre Guardiola and the Nocella river, G. Polizzi identified the remains of a thermal plant incorporated in the ruins of a rural house (146 altitude). The site has been the subject of a long frequentation, from prehistoric times, documented by the presence of a lithic pestle and flint fragments, to the Hellenistic age and again from the 249nd to the 33th century. AD The scholar concludes "we can hypothesize that between the Middle Empire and the beginning of the Late Age, a manor house took the place of a modest settlement of the late Republican / High Imperial age".
