Church of Santa Maria (St Mary's Church), Żurrieq

The current church may have been built on the original site of two ancient chapels, one dedicated to San Rocco and the other to San Sebastiano. The chapel of Santa Maria was built after the plague of 1676. The chapel was enlarged in 1961.
