Antonio Rigoli, stonemason
The request was accepted for the particular expertise in the stone carving sector. The tradition of Ucria, a municipality in the province of Messina, is kept alive thanks to the tireless work of this master stonemason who is the author of artifacts in sandstone, the local stone extracted from the quarries present in the territorial context.
On 12/05/2021 it was also included in the Register of Intangible Heritage of Sicily (REIS). In this regard, see the following press release from the Region:
