Feast of San Giuseppe (Villadoro)
Traditional event that has all the connotative elements of the rite: the begging, the altars of bread of various shapes, the fires and then again songs, prayers and sacred representations including the journey of the Holy Family and the consumption of the tables of the Virgineddi.
In December 2021 it was also included in the Register of Intangible Heritage of Sicily (REIS). In this regard, see the following article:
