Description:
The area comprising the mouth of the Belice and the neighboring dunes represents a biotope of considerable geobotanical, fauna, landscape and environmental interest. The phytocenotic aspects inherent in the series of psammophilous vegetation alternate with marshy and riparian expressions, as well as dwarf palm scrub formations settled along the surrounding escarpments.
It is included in the Bosco Alcamo Reserve
