Villa Bellini
The Bellini garden is the oldest of the four main gardens in Catania. By the people of Catania it is called a villa and represents the villa par excellence.
The garden dates back to the eighteenth century and belonged to Prince Ignazio Paternò Castello, who had wanted it according to the typologies of the time with labyrinths of hedges, statues and gushing fountains of such shape as to create water features. It was purchased by the municipality of Catania in 1854
