 U pupu cu l'uovo, (puppet with egg) It is a typical Easter cake, traditional Sicilian, which is prepared for Easter and which, in every part of the island, can take different forms and names.

Brief description of the product: Loaves or sweet pastries of different proportions, with shapes of dolls, puppets, etc. within which forms there are hard-boiled eggs.

Description of the processing and maturing methods: The dough is worked (flour, sugar, lard), cut into pieces and given the particular shape. The hard-boiled eggs are inserted and baked.

Specific materials and equipment used for preparation and conditioning: Maida (working table), pastry board.
