BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Palazzo Comunale was built in the late nineteenth century, was completed in the early 20s of the twentieth century with the Palazzo della Prefettura, the two buildings constitute a single structure that includes the block between Corso Italia and Via Rapisardi , Vittorio Veneto, and San Giuseppe. Inside the Palazzo della Prefettura there are frescoes by Duilio Cambellotti. The entrance to the Municipality is located in Corso Italia, that of the Prefecture in Vi Rapisardi. From the side of Corso Italia you can see four bas-reliefs, above the windows of the first order, the work of Carmelo Leone from Ragusa, which represent the symbols of the arts and letters, sciences, national wars and municipal wars.
