Former Monastery of the Five Wounds

The Monastery was probably founded in 600 and rebuilt after the earthquake of 1693. Until 1876 it was the seat of the Orphanage of the Sisters of Charity. From 1876 to the 50s it was the seat of the Civil Hospital. It has a Gothic façade with a cuspidate arched portal on which sides there are two crenellated windows. On the first floor there are three mullioned windows, the central one, framed by interesting bas-reliefs.
