Church of the Holy Guardian Angel

Built in 1659, it was enlarged in the XNUMXth century by the architect Giovanni Biagio Amico and later restored in the XNUMXth century. 

The interior in the Baroque style preserves many works: 

  • The Apparition of Jesus to the Magdalene (under the choir on the right), by an unknown author
  • S. Margherita da Cortona (under the choir on the left), by an unknown author.
  • Guardian angel, canvas by Domenico La Bruna (1738).
  • “Santa Francesca Romana”, another canvas by the same painter (1738).
  • Jesus and Samaritan woman, in the apse, on the left, by an unknown author
  • Jesus and the Adulteress (in the apse, on the right) by an unknown author
  • Sacred Heart of Jesus (1789), canvas by an unknown author.
  • Madonna della Libera, canvas by G.Mistretta, second half of the nineteenth century
  • Eighteenth-century wooden crown, Crucifix and stuccoes on the high altar
  • Statue of St. Benedict, from the Santifaller school (1980)
  • Statue of St. Scholastica, from the Santifaller school (1980)
