Cathedral of Ragusa: 6 Chapel of SS. Crucified
The imposing marble altar is dominated by a painting depicting Our Lady of Sorrows, Mary Magdalene and St. John the Evangelist which forms the background for a twentieth-century bronze crucifix, framed by decorative stuccos, which portray the three theological virtues: Faith, Hope and Charity. On the altar a small canvas of the Madonna del Buon Consiglio attributed to Quattrocchi (1744)
