Description

Villa Pampalone

Built in the 1th century. The main building consists of two elevations above ground: ground floor and XNUMXst floor. There are also two small buildings adjacent to the main one, each consisting of a ground floor.
The villa, built towards the end of the century. XIX, belongs to the Venuti family.
It has a rectangular plan with very simplified stylistic characteristics with pink plastered facades and is greatly enhanced by a large garden where the presence of centuries-old trees such as ficus, cypresses, pines and very tall palms dominate.
Arranged symmetrically to the facade of the villa there are two cycas which constitute the centers to which converge the orthogonal avenues that mark the garden. This consists of a citrus grove, we also find the inevitable cypress hut. Noteworthy is the presence of dwarf palms such as Sabal Blackburniana and Kenzie, as well as a certain variety of tropical plants.
