Villa Cascino
Historic public garden located in the “Dente. It was born as a park reserved for the patients of the clinic of Prof. Rosario Cascino, who equipped Modica with a surgical ward that the major hospital still lacked. Built in the early 900s on a project by the famous architect Filadelfo Fichera, this building hosts medical-surgical activities until the 40s, after which it will be used for various purposes. One of the elements that most strikes the visitor is the beautiful liberty-style loggia located to the left of the main entrance and from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
