Villa de Córdoba

In the eighteenth century the noble families, who already had their palaces in the capital, began to build villas in the surrounding area in which to spend several months of the year. Villa de Córdoba it was founded at the beginning of the 700s by Marquis G. Brancaccio, to subsequently pass into the possession of the Rational master GB Arceri. From these it was acquired by the Solomon family, so in the 800th century, come on Marquises Del Castillo of Sant'Isidoro. At the beginning of the twentieth century, through the Mamma came to the De Cordova, Marquesses of the Joust.
The villa, which rises along the Via Tommaso Natale, presents a scheme composed of a main body, on three levels, and two symmetrical low bodies once used as warehouses. Villa de Córdoba it was used as a filming location for the TV movie "The Baroness of Carini" with Vittoria Puccini and Luca Argentero , broadcast by RAI Uno in October 2007.
