Tower of the Bishop
Sixteenth-century structure with a quadrangular plan, built with mortar and unworked lava stones, on a fourteenth-century scarp base. The upper portion of the tower still has some loopholes. The tower, together with other towers was part of the defensive system that surrounded Catania.
