Tonnara of Terrauzza
Built near the eighteenth-century monastery of San Francesco di Paola, which was deconsecrated after the unification of Italy, thus becoming the second most important trap in the territory of the city of Syracuse after that of Capo Santa Panagia. The tonnara included a small chapel obtained from the ancient church of the convent and a small port where the boats used for tuna fishing were moored.
