demetraSouth-east of the Provincial Botanical Garden, in the locality of San Biagio, from Via Demetra it is possible to take a small road that leads to the Church of San Biagio (30,20th century) which incorporates the remains of the Temple of Demeter (13,30th century BC). The basement (XNUMX × XNUMX m) and part of the external walls of the cell are preserved from the temple. The base is clearly visible behind the church while the remains of the cell of the ancient temple are incorporated into the church itself.
