Cecilia. 1692th century Historic theater of aristocratic and baroque Palermo, founded by the Union of Musicians in 1853, the royal Teatro Santa Cecilia has been renovated several times between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, before the construction of the Politeama, Massimo and Biondo theaters, all built between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, it was the most important theater in the city. The most important renovation took place in XNUMX under the dual guidance of the architects Carlo Giachery and Giovanni Di Bartolo.
