Late Roman structures of Case Alcardimi-Figarotta
The site covers an average flat area located between the modern Alcardimi and Figarotta houses, in which there are remains of wall structures and ceramic fragments with medium density of concentration on the ground. In particular, two distinct areas can be identified: in the first ad… there is an imposing embossed plate wall with smooth facing, bonded to cement mortar; in the second area, a little further to… and in a higher position above a hillock, there are the remains of a building with a barrel vaulted room, which collapsed on the south side. Scattered in the area are also numerous ceramic fragments with a high density of concentration, mostly attributable to the late ancient period.
