St. Publius Parish Church
Built in stages from the XNUMXth to the XNUMXth century.
The interior contains various works: The altarpiece depicting the martyrdom of Publius dates back to 1773, and is the work of Antoine de Favray and his pupil Filippo Vincenzo Pace. The ceiling is decorated with paintings depicting the shipwreck of Saint Paul and his stay in Malta. they are by Giuseppe Calì, Emvin Cremona and many other artists. The titular statue of San Publio was completed in 1811 by the sculptor Vincenzo Dimech.
