Poggio Mucciacqui Archaeological Site

Poggio Mucciacqui extends to the right of via Salso, coming from the north-eastern outskirts of Licata. On the summit at a height of 22 meters, sporadic limestone blocks can be found, both among the crops and in a part of the uncultivated area, some of which are nowadays located on the border between the plots of land. Some of these appear to belong to buildings; two of these have a particular shape, because they have a sort of nail shape. Throughout the top there are some fragments of common pottery and others with engobe. Greco-Roman Age - V BC - III AD
