Archaeological Site Pizzo Generale-C.da Perciata
The site involves a large rocky ridge oriented in a north-west-south-east direction, on the southern slopes of which there are artificial caves originally relevant to burials. These caves and the rocky wall are supported by the remains of rooms built in masonry. The masonry structures are made with stones bonded to cement mortar and also have a height of more than 2,50 meters. On the surrounding ground, on the surface, there is the presence of many ceramic fragments attributable to the late Roman and medieval times.
Some arcosolium tombs were cut from the arrangement of an access gate to private property.
