Archaeological site in San Martino
Prehistoric settlement and necropolis and Byzantine hypogeum.
Necropolis of the Castelluccian age with artificial cave tombs reused, in some cases, in the Byzantine age. Christian cemetery area with arcosoli sub divo, earth pits, catacombs with canopied sepulchres. One of the hypogea, called “A rutta ra madri Sant'Anna”, has five canopied sepulchres, one of which bears the inscription of Dionysius presbyter of the “erghitana” church.
