Archaeological site in Contrada Giummarella-Boncore
Site located north-east of Monte Sole and north of Stagnone Pontillo. The rocky ridge presents on the whole north side cave tombs for a number of about six, whose opening has a rectangular shape, and are small and medium in size. At the north-east end, there is a cave carved into the rock, with a rectangular opening, two communicating rooms inside and two independent entrances. The rather large rooms, rectangular in shape, have a flat roof. On one of the walls where the entrances open, a sort of window also of rectangular shape. Reused as a home, there are traces of wooden frames. Bronze - XNUMXnd-XNUMXth century B.C
