Archaeological site in Contrada Castagna 

The site covers a large flat area in which some imperial Roman wall structures, attributable to an agricultural settlement, have been brought to light. In the area it is noted the presence of abundant ceramic fragments, scattered on the ground, including fragments of amphorae from
transport and African sigilata ascribable to the Roman imperial period.
