Archaeological site in Contrada Casa Bella-Montagnola

The mountain of C / da Casa Bella consists of three promontories located one to the north, one to the south and one to the east. The southern one is purely arenaceous with the presence of a quarry, the one to the east is partly cultivated and partly arable, and the one to the north is both arable land and wooded area. On the plateau at about 700 meters above sea level there are fragments of achromatic ceramic not worked on the lathe. On the latter promontory on the west side there are rocky boulders that have cuts at right angles and to the south-east of the same, along a rocky wall, there is a small cave tomb with remains of lining on the walls. To the north-east there is, carved into the rock, a small room with a rectangular opening and a vaulted roof, whose height is approximately 2 meters and a depth of approximately 80 cm.
