Archaeological site of Rocca San Nicola
The site of Rocca di San Nicola is a rocky peak that rises in the middle of the sea about a hundred meters from the coast, about 8 km from Licata. The area to the east of the islet gave landfill material dating back to the XNUMXth century. BC and the Byzantine age, while from an area further west come numerous iron anchors dating back to the IV-V century AD - Archaic / Byzantine Greek Age - VII-VI century. BC / VI-X century A.D
