Stone industry discovery area of the Neolithic age. (A2.6)
Description
At the extreme southern tip of Monte Tauro there are numerous caves which, being located within a military area, are remodeled by the construction of deposits and underground tunnels. The area between the caves and the shoreline has yielded fragments of lithic industry
in flint, obsidian, quartzite and basalt. Fragments of points, burins and other Neolithic material have been recognized
