Description

Archaeological site of Pizzo di Peres

The site extends along a slope degrading to the south towards the Salso river and is characterized by the presence of ceramic fragments with a medium density of concentration, attributable to a rather wide chronological period. In fact, there are ceramic fragments referable to the Bronze Age and the Classical Greek period, as well as to the Hellenistic-Roman, late-Republican, late-ancient and Byzantine periods.
