Archaeological site of Montalieri

Hills identifiable as "Mastoi Lamias" (cited by a Greek Hellenistic epigraph) with remains of the Greek age

Under the steep cliffs of Akrai to SW two hills identifiable with the "Mannelle di Lamia" mentioned in an acrense inscription. They have a spiral frame that rises from the base to the top of each of them. A plateau joins them at approximately half height.

Site subject to archaeological restrictions.
