Description

Kaucana archaeological site

Late ancient Byzantine settlement (XNUMXth - XNUMXth century AD) It includes the remains of numerous buildings, houses and warehouses overlooking the sea with simple or complex plans and a small basilica with three naves, with a mosaic floor, apse, narthex and internal and external floor burials of various types (III century BC, VIII century AD). The area was called "Antiques".
