Contrada Maragni
The settlement extends on the left bank of the Carboj river about 1500 m from its mouth, at a point where the watercourse over time has formed an increasingly accentuated bend, causing the partial destruction
of the settlement itself. It is a vast area of fragments on the surface, with a very high concentration density, the perimeter of which has made it possible to quantify an overall extension of
about one hectare. The analysis of the ceramic materials collected on the plain of the countryside indicates an uninterrupted attendance of the area as a whole starting from the end of the third century. BC until the first half of the seventh century. d. C.: the development of this broad chronological span is documented by the presence of Campania pottery of productions A and C, of Italic sealed pottery, and of pottery belonging to productions A, C and D of African sealed pottery
