Archaeological site of Cometi Colombaia

On the edge of a hilly plateau that slopes down towards the Gibellina river, near the Canalotto spring, there is an area of ​​about 30.000 square meters characterized by the average concentration of ceramic tiles and tiles.

The site was excavated during the preventive investigation campaign for the modernization works of the SS 640, it was excavated and covered for the passage of the bridge over the Gibellina river
