Archaeological site of Buffone

An inspection by the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage of Syracuse, carried out in 1994 at the Buffone farm, following the reporting of some archaeological emergencies intercepted during the expansion works of the provincial road Agnone - Carlentini, made it possible to identify some quarries and an entrance,
perhaps residential, dug into the rocky bank.
