Sepulcher of Santa Lucia
From the Catacombs of Santa Lucia an underpass leads directly to the Chapel of the Sepulcher of Santa Lucia, built in the century. XVII, designed by Giovanni Vermexio, in the center of the catacomb area, and above the ancient church dedicated to S. Agata.
The entrance to the Sepolcro di Santa Lucia is today framed by a wooden structure from the Baroque period. In front, under the altar of the chapel, the statue of Saint Lucia sculpted in 1634 by Gregorio Tedeschi is protected by a glass.
