Curiosity: An ancient local legend is associated with the plant, which perhaps gives rise to the district itself. A farmer fell asleep at the base of the tree; he saw in a dream a great dazzling light and heard a voice spoke to him promising to let him find a chest (truvatura) full of treasures after three days, as long as he did not tell the secret to anyone. Back home he couldn't help but tell everything to his wife, who urged him to go back to where the tree was, even though it was already dark, and to dig, he confided in his wife who dragged him back to dig around the roots up to the Sunrise. When the new day dawned, they saw a dazzling light and the two lost their voices forever.
