Description

Shelter of the Moarda.

In 1881 Antonino Salinas, on the advice of Salvatore D'Antoni, Duke of Ferla, visited a small ravine in a rocky outcrop, the capacity of a calf, where agricultural work had brought to light human bones and terracotta pots. The scholar managed to recover
what was left on his arrival: a few fragments with engraved motifs in the Capo Graziano style and an exceptional flask, intact, decorated with a bell-shaped motif, datable to the ancient bronze.
