Urban gate
In via XX Settembre, in an excavation in the roadway, the remains of the ancient city gate are still visible, built by Dionysius the Great and inserted in the walls which, starting from Ortigia, completely encircled the whole city up to the Eurialo castle, to a length of about 30 Km.
