Pantano Roveto
This site is characterized by the presence of significant nuclei of surface Latomia located on the edge of a promontory overlooking the Roveto swamp. Subsequently the Latomie were used as catacombs. The area has not yielded any ceramic fragments so it is impossible to precisely date both the Latomie and the catacombs; through typological comparisons it is plausible to assume that thelatomies are of Greek age while the catacombs can be placed chronologically in the early Christian age. It should also be noted that a short excavation campaign (Guzzardi 1988) identified traces of a coastal settlement from the Middle Bronze Age
