The Bishop's Palace is a Mannerist-style palace attributed to Giandomenico Gagini, with hints of Baroque, but very sober, which dates back to the first half of the XNUMXth century. It currently houses the Diocesan Museum.

The permanent exhibition contains works of art of ecclesiastical or religious origin found and restored and is entitled “Recoveries and restitutions. Acquisitions and restorations in the Diocese of Piazza Armerina "and offers visitors some works of great value such as the large canvas of St. Andrew the Apostle from the end of the 1603th century, the Immaculate Conception dated XNUMX and the Deposition from the mid-XNUMXth century, all coming from the Grand priory of Sant'Andrea. Numerous wooden works, crucifixes and statues are also exhibited, mostly dating back to the XNUMXth century
