Post Office building

LOCATION: Piazza Antonello DATING: 1915 DESCRIPTION: Built on a project by Vittorio Mariani nl 1915 in Liberty style. The curved loggia presents on the walls decorations in stucco bas-relief with allegorical putti on the theme of postal and telegraphic communications. The interior features floral decorations, symbols of the city, including contemporary ones such as ferry boats, and a stucco frieze depicting postman angels and telephone operators, stands in Piazza Antonello. Today it is one of the decentralized offices of the University.
